participants from 6 to 18 years old to join
Dear friend, we
invite you to become a co-organizer of a wonderful, exciting event, dynamic
programming of a peaceful future for the whole world, and also to contribute to
the popularization of Ukrainian culture.
You have a unique opportunity to create an image that is the personification of
the association of people of goodwill on different continents.
On June 9, 2024, Eastern Europe Day will be held in Brooklyn, New York, with the assistance and participation of the Honored Artist of Ukraine, the ambassador of the project "The World I Want to Live in!", Victoriya Vennikova from Kharkiv. Organizers of the event, "Continental Baseball Europe" and "Brooklyn Cyclones", single "A" baseball club. "Brooklyn Cyclones" will wear a specially designed uniform decorated with drawings created by Ukrainian children. You can create the image of a Stork, a bird with which many legends are associated. It is Stork, who is the personification of peace, family coziness, and well-being, who will represent Ukraine at this event.
NGO "Union of UN Peacekeepers" (Kharkov, Ukraine), "Brooklyn Cyclones", (New York, USA) professional baseball club, a subsidiary of the "New York Mets", invites novice artists to develop logos for uniforms for game 9 June! The work should depict the national bird of Ukraine - the White Stork, which symbolizes unity and the spirit of community. This initiative pays homage to Brooklyn's Eastern European heritage, but also highlights the talent and creativity of young artists in the local and global community. All submitted drawings (if they meet the theme and technical requirements) on the theme of the White Stork, will be printed and placed on the Brooklyn Cyclones uniform during the game! The winning design will become the team's logo at the June 9 game and will be used on the signature baseball caps.
HOW TO JOIN AND DEADLINES:
By April 10, 2024, submit*
your drawing (photo in JPG format) to the Competition.
All entrants whose work meets the criteria will become finalists and have their
design printed on the baseball team uniform. Design - the winner, chosen by the management of the Brooklyn Cyclones
club, will be the team's logo for the day and will be printed on a baseball
cap.
ATTENTION, STRICTLY FOLLOW THE TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS,
OTHERWISE THE WORK CANNOT BE PRINTED!
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
• The age group of artists
is 6-18 years
• Children who currently
live in Ukraine or have the status of temporary protection in the territory of
other states.
• White Stork must be the
central figure or component of the composition.
• A maximum of 4 colors can
be used for a design!
• Dimensions – 210×297 mm,
diagonal – 364 mm (physical format of the picture, A4).
• Add name, age and city in
the lower right corner of the work, in Ukrainian and English. Also, you can
leave a signature as the author.
• Send a high-quality photo
of the work (in JPG format), together with the application, to the e-mail
address of the organizing committee of the Competition. Photos of appropriate
quality, taken in daylight, clear, are accepted for consideration.
• In the case of submission
(for example, from an educational institution) of several works, each is drawn
up and submitted separately.
• In case of questions, call
the representatives of the organizing committee.
The number of competitive
works from one participant is one.
The works (drawings)
submitted to the competition must be original works of the participants.
It is forbidden to submit
previously published drawings that participated in any other competition, as
well as those that infringe the rights of third parties.
Participants' drawings must
correspond to the theme of the competition.
The drawing must be in color
(NOT black and white).

By sending the work and the electronic Application,
the applicant automatically confirms that he understands all the terms of this
Regulation and agrees with them; he is aware of the consequences of not
fulfilling the terms of the Regulation. Parents of contestants, or persons who
replace them, consent to their and their children's participation in the
filming of a documentary film, photo shoots within the framework of this
project.**
Participation in
the Competition (the fact of sending the Application) means full and
unconditional acceptance by the participant of the terms and rules of the Competition
and agreement with them, as well as consent to photo and video recording of the
participants and their works.
Each finalist
will receive an additional Certificate from the organizers.
Applications are accepted until April 10, 2024 at 6
p.m.
