8 May is a date that resonates with particular force in the heart of Europe. The final signing of the complete capitulation of Nazi Germany, after Reims, sealed by the signature placed in Karlhorst. The day of the end of the  World War Second in Europe is not just a moment of triumph, it is above all a reminder of the fragility of peace, the price of freedom and the importance of human solidarity.

On 8 May 2025, we will mark the 80th anniversary of the end of the World War Second in Europe. This day is not just a historical date, but a profound symbol: of memory, pain, victory over evil and hope for peace. Today, eight decades later, we still need remembrance to resist the oblivion that breeds repetition of tragedies.

Мене глибоко вразила картина у військовому музеї.

Випадково, під картиною, на дивані, сиділа мати з маленькою дитиною. Вона годувала його грудьми.

Дивлячись на цю картину, у мене виникли думки про кількість воєн та конфліктів у Європі, боролися за цілі та амбіції деяких. Великі маси людей пішли передчасно, молодими або отримали травми, виконуючи волю інших, таких як служителі чи лідери.

І все ж життя відроджувалося знову і знову. З'являлися нові люди, нові технології, нові культури, нації, країни та держави... І ці битви повторювалися знову і знову! Життя дане людині вищими силами для того, щоб воно прожило, а не для того, щоб це життя використовувалося для зведення рахунків чи задоволення амбіцій та ігор долі.

"I took part in the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Organization of Participants in International Operations and UN Peacekeeping Missions.

The main ceremony was attended by the President of the International Association of UN Peacekeepers "Soldiers of Peace" Laurent Attar-Bayrou, Vice-President of the International Association of UN Peacekeepers "Soldiers of Peace" Tibor Albert Vice-President Europe de l'Ouest AISP/SPIA and other officials representing France.

"My participation was designated from Ukraine and as the director of youth programs at the International Association of UN Peacekeepers "Soldiers of Peace" AISP/SPIA.

Serhii Samoilov, Director of Youth Programs at AISP/SPIA and founder of the international projects "School of Peace" and "Young Peacemakers" took part at the Ceremonial event and participation in the General Assembly of the Federation of Participants in International Operations and UN Peacekeeping Missions Abroad (OPEX)

On 12-13 April 2025  Serhii Samoilov, Director of Youth Programs at AISP/SPIA and founder of the international projects "School of Peace" and "Young Peacemakers" took part at the Ceremonial event and participation in the General Assembly of the Federation of Participants in International Operations and UN Peacekeeping Missions Abroad (FNAME-OPEX).
